Police Arrest Man Over Findon Stabbing

A man was arrested last night following investigations into a serious assault at Findon earlier this month.

Just before 10pm Sunday 2 August, police and emergency crews were called to Crittenden Road, Findon after receiving reports a youth had been stabbed after an earlier verbal altercation on a bus.

A 17-year-old boy was treated at the scene by paramedics and conveyed to hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries.

Following investigations, an 18-year-old Welland man, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault cause serious harm.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later today, Tuesday 11 August.
