Police arrest man over revocation of parole warrant

A man wanted on an outstanding warrant has been arrested in Sydney's inner west.

Officers from State Crime Command's Criminal Groups Squad commenced an investigation to locate a 30-year-old man wanted on an outstanding revocation of parole warrant for weapon and firearm offences.

Following inquiries, detectives arrested the man outside a venue in St Georges Crescent, Drummoyne, about 3.15pm yesterday (Wednesday 3 May 2023).

He was taken to Burwood Police Station, where detectives executed the warrant.

The man was transferred into the custody of Department of Corrective Services NSW.
