Police arrest teen after stabbing in CBD, South Australia

Police have arrested a teenage boy after another teen was stabbed in the CBD today.

Just before 5pm Saturday 20 August, police and paramedics were called to Eliza Street after reports a teenage boy had been stabbed.

The teen was found in an alley way with a minor stab wound to his back. He was treated at the scene before being taken to the Women's and Children's Hospital. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

Police believe the incident was not random with the suspect known to the victim.

Police arrested the suspect a short time later on North Terrace. A 17-year-old boy from Kudla has been taken into custody and will be charged later tonight.
