Police arrest teen over robbery, South Australia

A teenage boy has been arrested following a robbery at a shop in the CBD last night.

About 9.15pm on Saturday 10 September, two males entered a convenience store on Hindley Street and allegedly threatened a staff member with a knife. The suspects then jumped the counter and stole items before leaving.

Thankfully no one was injured.

Police patrols searched the area and located one of the suspects nearby.

The knife was also located and seized.

A 15-year-old boy from Ottoway was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and hindering police. He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 19 October.

Investigations are continuing regarding the second suspect.
