Police arrest teens after Tullamarine aggravated burglary

Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged four teenagers after two vehicles were stolen during an alleged aggravated burglary in Tullamarine early Friday morning.

It is alleged the teens attended the Melrose Drive address while the victims were asleep inside and stole personal items and keys to both cars.

One of the alleged stolen vehicles was located by police crashed in Adina Court.

Police located the second vehicle in Freight Drive and arrested the four teens.

All four were charged with multiple offences including aggravated burglary, two counts of theft of motor vehicle and driving offences.

A 17-year-old Pascoe Vale boy, a 16-year-old Tullamarine boy and a 15-year-old Glenroy boy were each bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.

A 15-year-old Westmeadows boy was remanded in custody.
