Five teenagers have been arrested after a robbery at Modbury Sunday evening.
It will be alleged that about 5.15pm Sunday 7 December, several suspects entered a bottle shop on North East Road, stole alcohol, and assaulted a staff member and customer inside the store.
Both victims sustained non-life-threatening head and facial lacerations and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The alleged offenders fled the scene on foot.
Northern and Eastern District patrols swiftly responded and after a short foot chase, arrested four suspects nearby. A fifth suspect was arrested following further searches of the area.
A 13-year-old girl from Felixstow, 13-year-old girl from Pooraka, 15-year-old boy from Tonsley, 14-year-old boy from Plympton Park and 18-year-old man from St Agnes were charged with aggravated robbery.
The Tonsley boy was further charged with theft and two counts of aggravated assault. He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court later today (Monday 8 December).
The remaining teens were bailed with strict conditions and will appear in the Youth Court during January.
Crime Scene investigators examined the scene. Detectives continue to investigate the incident and are making enquiries to identify and locate additional suspects.
