Police arrest two after pursuit ends at Salisbury North, South Australia

Two men were arrested after a police pursuit commenced at Paralowie tonight.

A patrol attempted to pull over a red Daewoo Lanos on Martins Road, Paralowie about 9.45pm on Wednesday 18 September but the vehicle failed to stop.

It was pursued through the backstreets, then onto Waterloo Corner Road, before heading into the backstreets of Salisbury North.

The vehicle mounted the verge on Swinstead Crescent, Salisbury North and was quickly surrounded by two patrol cars. The Daewoo reversed into the two patrol cars, causing minor damage.

Both occupants of the Daewoo were quickly arrested.

No police officers were injured during the incident.

The two men will be interviewed and may be charged overnight. The vehicle was seized by police and towed for forensic examination.

Investigations are continuing.
