Police arrest two after serious assault in Adelaide, South Australia

Police have arrested two men in relation to an assault that occurred in January, which left the male victim with serious injuries.

It is alleged that two men assaulted the victim on the evening of Wednesday 30 January in King William Street.

The 24-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where it was revealed he had sustained a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain. He remains in hospital in a serious condition.

A 42-year-old male from Semaphore Park was arrested on Wednesday 6 March and a 20-year-old man from Noarlunga Downs was arrested yesterday and charged with aggravated cause serious harm and aggravated theft.

Both men were refused bail and remanded in custody to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 21 June.
