Police arrest woman over Epping school crossing hit and run

Greensborough Highway Patrol members have arrested and interviewed a woman in relation to an alleged hit and run collision which occurred in Epping on 22 February.

Investigators have been told a 58-year-old school crossing supervisor was removing flags from a Findon Road school crossing about 9am when he was struck by a silver vehicle.

The South Morang man was later transported to hospital with upper body injuries.

A 50-year-old woman from South Morang attended Mernda Police Station earlier today to speak to police about the incident.

She has been interviewed and was released pending further enquires.
