The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a serious three-vehicle traffic crash at Norman Gardens in Rockhampton on 5 May.
Around 4.30pm, police and emergency services were called to reports of a white Ford, a blue Mazda, and a red Toyota Rav4 colliding with each other on Farm Street between Bramble Street and Norman Road.
The 74-year-old female driver of the blue Mazda sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital.
The 38-year-old female driver of the red Rav4 and 54-year-old male driver of the white Ford were not physically injured.
