Police charge man after Albion stabbing

Police have charged a man following an alleged aggravated burglary and stabbing in Albion yesterday morning.

The 28-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary, intentionally cause serious injury, recklessly cause serious injury, assault and reckless conduct endanger life.

He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today, Monday 16 December.

The charges follow an alleged aggravated burglary and stabbing at a house on Talmage Street just before 5am.

A 38-year-old man remains in hospital in a serious condition.
