Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 62-year-old man following the death of a man in Alexandra this morning.
The charges follow a report of an altercation at an address on Bayley Street about 1.40am.
Emergency services responded and located a 60-year-old Alexandra man deceased.
A 62-year-old Alexandra man was arrested at the scene and this afternoon charged with murder.
He was held over to appear before the Shepparton Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
