Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged a man following an alleged attempted armed robbery in Bell Park on 21 February.
The 30-year-old man from Bell Park was arrested yesterday by detectives and charged in relation to the incident that occurred at a sporting club in Seperation Street just after 12.30am.
He appeared at Geelong Magistrates Court yesterday and was bailed by the court.
The man is due to appear at Geelong Magistrates' Court on 10 July for a committal mention hearing.
