Detectives from the Sexual Crimes Squad have today charged a man following an alleged aggravated burglary and sexual assault earlier this year.
The 38-year-old Burwood man was arrested in Burwood this morning and subsequently interviewed by police.
He has been charged with rape, sexual assault and aggravated burglary.
The man will face Melbourne Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
The charges follow an incident on 17 January where a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted after a man entered her Burwood home.
