Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man, following a fatal collision in Carag Carag on 26 May.
Emergency services were called to Midland Highway, after a truck allegedly collided with a Holden Astra hatchback, about 12.05pm.
The passenger of the hatchback, a 73-year-old woman from Shepparton, later died in hospital.
The driver of the hatchback, a 32-year-old woman from Shepparton sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 24-year-old truck driver from Jan Juc has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
He has been bailed to face Bendigo Magistrates' Court on 31 May.
