Police Charge Man After Cyclist Death In Attwood

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal collision in Attwood on Tuesday.
It is understood a car and bicycle collided on Mickleham Road, approaching the intersection with Bateman Street, shortly before 7pm on 7 October.
Sadly the cyclist, a 53-year-old Attwood man, died at the scene.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was transported to hospital for observation.
Yesterday the 55-year-old Greenvale man was charged with dangerous driving causing death.
He appeared in Melbourne Magistrates' Court today, where he was granted bail to face the court again on 27 January 2026.
