Police charge man after dozens of tyres slashed

Moonee Valley Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man after dozens of vehicles had their tyres allegedly slashed in Essendon, Moonee Ponds and Brunswick West in September.

At least forty vehicles had their tyres allegedly slashed on 29 September.

A 32-year-old Brunswick West man was arrested in Brunswick West yesterday.

He has been charged with 45 counts of criminal damage and 3 counts of commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

He was remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow, 10 November.
