Police charge man after drugs and cash seized - Bligh Park

A man will re-appear in court today after the Organised Crime Squad seized cannabis, MDMA, steroids and cash at a home in Sydney's north west.

Detectives from the State Crime Command Organised Crime Squad, with assistance from the Public Order and Riot Squad, executed a search warrant at a home on Bligh Street, Bligh Park, about 10am on Wednesday (7 August 2019).

During the search, officers seized 48 MDMA capsules, 2kg of cannabis, eight vials of steroids and $750 cash.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Windsor Police Station.

He was charged with supply prohibited drug, possess anabolic agent (x2), possess prohibited drug and deal with proceeds of crime.

The man was refused bail and appeared at Penrith Local Court on Wednesday, where he was formally refused bail to re-appear at the same court today (Friday 9 August 2019).

Investigations are continuing.
