Police charge man after drugs seized in Lorne

Geelong Police have charged a 20-year-old man after seizing a large quantity of drugs believed to be destined for sale to school leavers celebrating schoolies at Lorne.

The arrest occurred after patrolling police observed the driver of a red Hyundai acting suspicious on Charles Street about 1.00am.

The Anglesea man has been charged with three counts of traffic a drug of dependence, four counts of possess drug of dependence and careless driving.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Geelong magistrates Court tomorrow (26 November).
