Police charge man after fatal collision in Berwick

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man over a fatal collision in Berwick on 15 September.

It is understood a white Subaru wagon and a blue Ford utility collided near the intersection of O'Shea Road and Kimbarra Drive about 7.50am.

The driver of the Subaru, a 49-year-old Berwick man, sadly died at the scene.

A 24-year-old Cranbourne East woman was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Ford, a 29-year-old Cranbourne man, has been charged with culpable driving causing death.

He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court 16 February 2024.
