A man will face court charged following an alleged fatal stabbing on the Central Coast overnight.
About 8pm on Monday 6 April 2026, emergency services were called to a premises on Buff Point Ave, Buff Point, about 4km south of Doyalson, following reports of an assault.
Police from Tuggerah Lakes Police District were told the two men – who are known to each other – became involved in an altercation during which a 42-year-old man was allegedly stabbed.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he could not be revived.
A 20-year-old man was arrested nearby and taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with murder.
He was refused bail and will appear before Bail Division Court 6 today (Tuesday 7 April 2026)
