Police charge man after firearm seized - Narellan Vale

A man has faced court yesterday after a firearm was seized from a home in Sydney's south-west.

Acting on information received, investigators attached to Camden Police Area Command executed a search warrant at a home in Plane Tree Drive, Narellan Vale, about 10.30am yesterday (Thursday 30 November 2023).

Police allegedly located an unauthorised pistol under a mattress, which was seized for forensic examination.

Following the investigation, police arrested a 48-year-old man who was taken to Camden Police Station where he was charged with possess unauthorised pistol.

He appeared before Picton Local Court yesterday (Thursday 30 November 2023) where he was granted conditional bail to reappear before Picton Local Court on Thursday 14 December 2023.
