Sexual Crime Squad detectives have arrested a man following an alleged assault in Hawthorn last week.
A Kew man was arrested yesterday and was charged this morning in relation to the alleged incident on Burwood Road on 22 November.
The 30-year-old has been charged with stalking, attempted abduction, intentionally cause injury, recklessly cause injury, false imprisonment and assault with intent to sexually assault.
Police would like to thank the community and media for their assistance in relation to the matter.
