Police charge man after Noble Park shooting

A man has been charged with assault related offences following the fatal shooting of a man in Noble Park on Monday 11 July. 2022

Emergency services were called following reports a man had been shot at a unit on Corrigan Road about 6am.

A 36-year-old Noble Park North man died at the scene.

Shortly after the shooting, it is believed two people ran from the unit, and were allegedly chased by four others.

The four caught up with the pair and a fight allegedly erupted on Corrigan Road.

At this stage, police believe parties involved were known to each other.

A 38-year-old man was arrested by Homicide Squad detectives in Springvale on 21 October in relation to the alleged affray.

The man has been charged with affray and intentionally cause injury.

He has been bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates' Court on 24 March, 2023.
