Detectives from the Sexual Crimes Squad have today charged a man following an aggravated burglary and indecent act in Norlane on the weekend.
The incident occurred on Saturday, 2 April when a woman awoke around 2am to an unknown male who was allegedly standing in her room performing a sexual act.
The man, a 20-year-old from Corio, was arrested about 6pm yesterday when police executed a search warrant at a Norlane address.
He has since been charged with aggravated burglary - person present, sexual activity directed at another person, without authority/excuse enter private place and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.
He was remanded to face Geelong Magistrates' Court on 12 April.
