Police charge man after Prahran shooting

Police arrested a man yesterday as part of the ongoing investigation into a fatal shooting outside a Prahran nightclub earlier this year.

A 25-year-old man was arrested in Epping about 11am on 29 June.

Police also seized a handgun during the execution of a search warrant.

The Epping man was subsequently interviewed by police and has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder/assist principal offender, prohibited person possess firearm, stalking, make threats to kill and other offences.

He will face Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.

Two people were killed during the incident on 14 April and another four people were injured.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the shooting or a number of vehicles believed to be connected to it, to come forward.

The investigation remains ongoing.
