Police charge man after Rosebud stabbing

Police have charged a man following an alleged stabbing at a Rosebud supermarket carpark yesterday.

It is alleged the man approached a male staff member collecting trolleys and stabbed him just before 1pm.

The victim, a 37-year-old Rosebud man, was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested the 25-year-old man shortly after and have since charged him with intentionally cause serious injury, recklessly cause serious injury and other assault related offences.

He was remanded to reappear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 9 June.
