Police Charge Man After Sexual Touching - Werrington

A man has been charged following an alleged sexual touching incident in Sydney's north-west last month.

About 5:45pm on Thursday 30 April 2026, police responded to a report of a sexual touching at Werrington Railway Station.

Officers attached to North West Police Transport Command were told a 24-year-old woman was sexually touched by an unknown man.

Following investigations, about 8.40pm yesterday (Thursday 14 May 2026), a 26-year-old man was arrested at St Mary's Police Station, where he was charged with sexually touch another person without consent.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before Penrith Local Court on Friday 5 June 2026.
