Police Charge Man After South West Burglary Series

Bunbury Detectives have charged a 22-year-old man with 16 offences following several alleged incidents that occurred across the South West area between 15 and 30 March 2026.

It will be alleged the accused committed several burglary and stealing offences across the suburbs of Australind, Dalyellyup, Eaton, and Pelican Point.

As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old man from Gosnells has been charged with:

• 2 x Aggravated Home Burglary and Commit

• 1 x Home Burglary and Commit

• 3 x Steal Motor Vehicle to use without the Consent of the Owner

• 1 x Stealing

• 7 x Gains Benefit by Fraud

• 2 x Possession of Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property

He has been remanded in custody to next appear before the Bunbury Magistrates Court on 23 April 2026.

This type of behaviour will not be tolerated. Police remain committed to taking firm action against those who place community safety at risk and will hold offenders accountable for their actions.
