Police Charge Man After Stabbing - Bondi Beach

A man has been charged after an alleged stabbing in Sydney's east overnight.

About 11.15pm yesterday (Saturday 18 July 2026), emergency services were called to Warners Avenue, Bondi Beach, following reports of an assault.

Officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended and located a 33-year-old man with a stab wound to his face and hand.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to St Vincents Hospital in a stable condition.

As part of inquiries, officers attended a premises in Ramsgate Avenue, Bondi Beach, and established a crime scene.

Following inquires, a 32-year-old man was arrested at the Ramsgate Avenue location.

He was taken to Surry Hills Police Station where he was charged with reckless wounding.

The man was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Court 7 today (Sunday 19 July 2026).
