Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of Yoke Onn Chi in Templestowe Lower in January.
A 40-year-old Reservoir man was arrested this morning and interviewed by police.
He has been charged with one count of murder and will face Melbourne Magistrates' Court shortly.
The charge follows an incident on 31 January where 57-year-old Yoke Onn Chi was located deceased inside his Michael Street, Templestowe Lower home.
