Police charge man after Waranga fatality

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal collision in Waranga Shores yesterday afternoon.

Investigators have been told a 4WD and a motorcycle collided on Rushworth-Tatura Road about 3pm.

The male rider of the motorcycle, a 61-year-old man from Lutana, Tasmania, died at the scene.

The driver of the 4WD, an 87-year-old man, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.

The Nagambie man has been bailed to appear at the Shepparton Magistrates' court on 24 March.
