Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 20-year-old man following an alleged assault in Werribee on Sunday night (7 July).
The charges relate to the alleged assault of two staff members and theft of a bottle of soft drink from a Quarbing Street shop just before 9pm.
He has been charged with aggravated burglary two counts of intentionally cause injury, two counts of assault with an instrument, unlawful assault, criminal damage, theft from shop, assault police and resist police.
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
