Police charge man over drug supply - Bass Hill

A man has been charged with drug offences after steroids and nearly 15,000 pills were seized at Bass Hill yesterday.

Just before 10.00am (Friday 8 January 2021) officers from Bankstown Police Area Command went to a house on the Hume Highway at Bass Hill and spoke with a male occupant of the premises.

While speaking with the man, police allegedly saw a large quantity of prohibited drugs inside the house.

Officers declared a crime scene and applied for a search warrant from the Court to further process the crime scene.

During the search, police allegedly located numerous items suspected of being steroids, including 5,800 green pills, 1,700 blue pills, 3,800 yellow pills, 3,100 red pills, 42 vials of Nandrolone, 10 vials of Clenbuterol, 61 vials of Sustonon, 9 vials of Testosterone Proprionate, 27 vials of Testosterone Enanthate, 52 vials of Trenbolone Enateete, 9 vials of Nandrolone Decanoate, multiple bags of coloured powder and equipment used for the manufacture of prohibited drugs, including a pill press.

The 30-year-old man was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with nine offences, including;

Supply prohibited drug (four counts)

Possess tablet press or drug enscapulator

Possess restricted substance sold by non-wholesaler (four counts)

The man was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court today (Saturday 9 January 2021).
