Police charge man over drug supply - Inner West PAC

A man has been charged with drug supply in Sydney's Inner West.

About 5.50pm (Wednesday 4 December 2019), police stopped a 27-year-old man exiting a unit complex on Alice Street, Newtown.

Following inquiries, the man was searched, with police allegedly locating small bags containing crystal methylamphetamine ('ICE') and a bottle containing GHB.

The man was arrested and taken to Newtown Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drugs.

Yesterday (Thursday 5 December 2019), officers subsequently executed a search warrant at a unit on Moonbie Street, Summer Hill, during which they allegedly located a further 315g of ICE, 132g of MDMA, and 2.66 litres of GHB, as well as a large sum of cash.

The man was then charged with two counts of large commercial drug supply and bail refused to appear at Newtown Local Court today (Friday 6 December 2019).
