Police charge man over Gouger Street delivery rider assault, South Australia

A man has been charged following an assault on Gouger Street last weekend.

The incident occurred about 6.30pm on Saturday 4 July, the victim, a 19-year-old Adelaide man, was on a scooter when he was allegedly assaulted by a man who was not known to him.

Following a call to the public for assistance, today Thursday 9 July, police attended a home in South Brighton where they arrested a 21-year-old man.

The South Brighton man has been charged with assault cause harm and is expected to be bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
