Police charge man over multiple break and enter offences - Riverstone

A man has been charged over multiple alleged property related offences in Sydney's north west.

Officers attached to Quakers Hill Police Area Command's Proactive Crime Team have been investigating a number of property related offences in the Riverstone area since early April 2019, including an alleged break, enter and steal where $46,000 worth of jewellery was reported stolen.

On Sunday 21 April 2019, a 27-year-old man was arrested at a house on Garfield Road East, Riverstone, and charged with larceny and enter prescribed premises of any person without lawful excuse.

He was refused bail and appeared in Parramatta Local Court on Monday 22 April 2019, where he was formally refused bail.

Following further investigations, an additional seven charges were laid against the man yesterday (Tuesday 7 May 2019), including two counts of break enter and steal, receive stolen property, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner, two counts of enter inclosed land without lawful excuse and goods suspected stolen in/on premises.

He was refused bail to appear in Blacktown Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 9 May 2019).
