In June 2024, officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District commenced an investigation into alleged National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) fraud incidents on the Central Coast.
About 8am today (Thursday 1 May 2025), officers attached to Tuggerah Lake Police District executed a search warrant at a unit on Wairoa Avenue, North Bondi.
A 53-year-old man was arrested at the location.
It will be alleged the man defrauded $715,000 between 2019 and 2023.
During a search of the unit, police allegedly located and seized several documents, records, and electronic storage devices.
The man was taken to Waverley Police Station he was charged with three counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage etc by deception.
He has been refused bail to appear at Waverley Local Court tomorrow (Friday 2 May 2025).
