An 18 year old West Moonah man has been charged with attempted robbery following an incident involving a taxi driver in Glenorchy last night.
The man was charged with one count of Attempted Robbery and also charged in relation to minor property damage following a separate earlier property damage incident.
The taxi driver did not sustain any injuries during the assault.
Police have confirmed the 18 year old man was not carrying a weapon during the incident.
The man will be detained to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
