Police Charge Man With Fraud Offences- Hunter Valley

A man has been charged with multiple fraud offences in the Hunter Valley region.

In 2024, detectives attached to Hunter Valley Police District commenced Strike Force Noolinga, with the assistance of State Crime Command's Forensic Accounting Unit, to investigate reports of alleged fraudulent activities by a 34-year-old man.

Police will allege the man used a business to fraudulently gain over $7 million in investments between February and June 2022.

Yesterday (Thursday 19 March 2026), the 34-year-old man was arrested at Muswellbrook Police Station, where he was charged with eight counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage etc by deception.

He was refused bail and appear before Bail Division Court 2 (Thursday 19 March 2026).
