Police charge man with murder after fight - Narara

A man will appear in court today charged with murder after a fight at a home on the state's Central Coast yesterday.

Just after 6pm (Sunday 8 August 2021), emergency services were called to a home on Holcombe Avenue, Narara, following reports of a disturbance.

A man, aged 43, was found with a stab wound to his torso and was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.

Officers from Brisbane Water Police District established a crime scene.

Following inquiries, a 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Gosford Police Station, where he was charged with murder.

He has been refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court today (Monday 9 August 2021).

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue.
