Police Charge Man With Murder After Stabbing At Nowra

A man will face court after an alleged stabbing in Nowra yesterday.

About 5.45pm yesterday (Sunday 20 April 2025), emergency services were called to the intersection of Moss Street and Brereton Street, Nowra, following reports of an altercation between two men.

Police have been told the two men – who are believed to be known to each other – were involved in an altercation when one of the men was allegedly stabbed in the torso.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he could not be revived.

While yet to be formally identified, the man is believed to be aged in his 20's.

Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.

A short time later, a 47-year-old man was arrested at Nowra Police Station.

He has been charged with murder and refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Monday 21 April 2025).
