Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Wonnerup, near Busselton, on Sunday, 20 September 2026.
About 4.50am, a silver Hyundai Accent and a grey GWM dual cab utility collided head on along Layman Road, near Floodgate Road.
The 61-year-old male driver of the Hyundai sustained serious injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital where he later died.
The 20-year-old female driver of the GWM was uninjured.
