Police charge man with stalking offences, South Australia

Following an extensive investigation by Northern District CIB Detectives, an Andrews Farm man has been arrested and charged with 21 offences including 16 counts of stalking against 16 different women.

Police will allege that the offences took place between 2013 and 2021 at various locations across the Adelaide metropolitan area with the man mainly targeting women aged in their 30's.

It will be further alleged, that on most occasions, the man approached and met victims through various online platforms including well known dating sites and prominent online market place sites to send random social media requests and make contact with his victims.

The 35-year-old was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

Police would like to remind the public to be conscious of their online safety and cautious of the information they share, particularly when they are contacted by people they do not know.
