Two people have been charged following an alleged public place shooting in Bossley Park yesterday.
About 6.30am yesterday (Friday 21 November 2025), police were called to a home on Aberdeen Street, Bossley Park, following reports of a public place shooting.
Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command arrived to find a several shots had been fired into a home from an Audi sedan before it drove from the scene.
No residents in the home were injured during the shooting.
Following initial inquiries, police located the abandoned Audi crashed nearby at the intersection of Mimosa and Prairie Vale Road.
During a search of the sedan, police allegedly located and seized an automatic firearm for forensic examination.
A crime scene was established at both locations with Fairfield City detectives commencing inquiries to locate the driver.
About 1.30pm yesterday (Friday 21 November 2025), police executed a search warrant at an address on Woodville Road, Fairfield West, and arrested a 22-year-old man.
He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station where he was charged with fire firearm at dwelling etc organised criminal activity and participate criminal group contribute criminal.
The man was bail refused to appear at Local Bail Division Court today (Saturday 22 November 2025).
During the search warrant a shortened calibre rifle, ammunition, and a number of mobile phones were located at the address.
About 6.15pm yesterday (Friday 21 November 2025), officers stopped a vehicle on Camden Valley Way, Leppington, and arrested a 16-year-old boy.
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with fire firearm at dwelling etc organised criminal activity, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, and be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner.
The boy was refused bail to appear at a children's court today (Saturday 22 November 2025).
About 12am today (Saturday 22 November 2025), Fairfield detectives and the Tactical Operations Unit executed a search warrant at an address on River Mint Avenue, Leppington, where ammunition and clothing were allegedly located and seized.
Inquiries are ongoing.
