Police Charge Teen After Assault - Eastwood

A teenage boy will face court today following an assault last month in Sydney's north west.

About 5:30pm on Saturday 18 October 2025, officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command began an investigation after a 15-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by four youths in West Parade, Eastwood.

He was taken to The Children's Hospital at Westmead for treatment of injuries to his face.

Following inquiries, about 6:20pm Saturday 6 December 2025, officers attended a shopping Centre in Macquarie Park, where a 17-year-old boy was located.

He was arrested and taken to Gladesville Police Station where he was charged with reckless wounding in company, drug possession and breach of bail.

He has been refused bail to appear before a Children's Court today, Sunday 7 December 2025.

Three other teenage boys, aged 14, 15 and 18 remain before the courts.
