Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a teenager this morning following a double fatal crash in Orbost in June.
The 15-year-old boy from the East Gippsland area was arrested this morning.
He was charged with two counts of culpable driving, two counts of dangerous driving causing death, unregistered vehicle and unlicensed driving.
It is alleged three occupants inside a car crashed into a tree on the corner of Murphys Lane and Bonang-Orbost Road about 12.20am on Tuesday, 10 June.
An 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy died at the scene.
A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The teenager will appear at a children's court later today.
