Police have charged a teenage boy after an alleged ram-raid and pursuit in Traralgon yesterday morning.
It is alleged a grey Nissan Patrol deliberately reversed into the front of a Church Street business in Traralgon about 3.15am on Saturday, 13 June.
The Nissan allegedly took off from the scene and deliberately collided with another vehicle on Tennyson Street a short time later.
Officers swiftly responded and caught site of the Nissan, which allegedly took off at speed.
Police kept eyes on the Nissan as it allegedly drove along the Princes Freeway towards Melbourne.
Additional police units were notified of the vehicle, which enabled officers to successfully deploy a tyre deflation device in the vicinity of Fitzgerald Road in Sunshine.
The Nissan was allegedly dumped, and police arrested a 17-year-old boy close to the scene.
He was charged with burglary, criminal damage and theft of a motor vehicle.
The teen was bailed to appear before a children's court at a later date.
Investigators are continuing to determine whether any others were involved in the alleged incidents.
