Police charge teen with drug supply in Merrylands

Police have charged a man with drug supply following a vehicle search in Merrylands, NSW Police say.

About 3:20pm yesterday police attached to Rosehill Local area Command were patrolling on Louis Street, Merrylands.

Police stopped a grey Nissan Skyline and searched a 16-year old who was in the vehicle.

As a result of the search, 11 grams of MDMA was allegedly found in the teen’s possession.

The teen was arrested and taken to Parramatta Police Station where he was charged with drug supply and traffic offences.

The teen was given conditional bail to appear before a Children’s Court on 26 September 2016.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
