Police Charge Teens After Brawl - Belmore

Two teenage boys have charged following a brawl in Belmore.

About 11am yesterday (Thursday 7 May 2026), emergency services were called to a school on Burwood Road, Belmore, following reports of a brawl.

Officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were told up to 30 students engaged in a physical altercation inside the school ground.

Six students were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Two boys – both aged 16 – were arrested and taken to Campsie Police Station.

Following inquiries, one of the teenage boys was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray.

The second boy was charged with affray.

Both boys were granted conditional bail to appear at a Children's Court on Friday 29 May 2026.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
